ICE Technology
ICE technology is a patented cooling technology that cools the skin down to -3 C° during laser epilation. With the cooling provided by the sapphire tip of the application head, the skin is kept constantly cool and the risk of complications such as burns on the skin surface is eliminated. Contact cooling increases patient comfort and enables almost completely painless laser epilation.
ICE technology cools the skin to prevent superficial burns and pain. Short pulses create therapeutically effective heat accumulation in the deep dermis at a high repetition rate, almost completely painless.
Technology
Sophrano offers the advantage of the synergistic effect of the 3 most effective wavelengths for laser hair removal. Each hair follicle consists of three main anatomical structures and can grow at different depths within the skin. By combining 3 wavelengths in a single handpiece, Sophrano targets all anatomical structures within hair follicles at different depths.
Alexandrite, Nd: YAG and Diode wavelengths are mixed equally during application and ensures the destruction of 3 anatomical structures in the hair follicle (Bulge, Bulb and Papilla).
755 nm Alexandrite Wavelength
Alexandrite wavelength is intensely absorbed by the melanin chlorophore, which gives hair its color.
It is effective in epilation of skin types I-IV and dark colored hair. It targets the Bulge anatomical structure of the hair follicle with superficial penetration of 755 nm wavelength.
810 nm Diode Wavelength
Diode wavelength has a medium level of melanin absorption, making epilation safe on dark skin. It targets the Bulb and Bulge anatomical structures in the hair follicle with its 810 nm deep penetration feature. Ideal for epilation of arms, legs, cheeks and beard area. Its high repetition rate and wide application head allow rapid application and shorten the treatment time by half.
1064 nm Nd:YAG Wavelength
Nd:YAG wavelength is characterized by low melanin absorption, it is the ideal laser epilation wavelength for skin types V-VI and tanned skin. At the same time, 1064 nm provides the deepest penetration into the hair follicle and targets the Bulb and Papilla anatomical structures in the hair follicle. It is effective in epilating deep-seated hair such as the back and groin area.
